Ferrari has emerged victorious in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2023, a grueling endurance race that tested the limits of drivers and machines.
The legendary race, held at Circuit de la Sarthe in France, witnessed intense competition as Toyota and Ferrari battled for supremacy. In a captivating duel that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, Ferrari ultimately prevailed, marking a historic triumph for the Italian marque.
The victory was particularly significant as it marked the first time since 1965 that Ferrari had won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a Hypercar. The #51 Ferrari 499P, driven by Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Fuoco, crossed the finish line first after 383 laps of the demanding 13.6-kilometer circuit.
Toyota, which had won the previous two editions of the race, fought valiantly but faced challenges. The #8 Hypercar driven by Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley, and Ryo Hirakawa finished second, while the #7 Toyota of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi, and José MarÃa López completed the podium.
