McDavid, Skinner Push Oilers to Brink of Elimination

Edmonton Oilers Stave Off Elimination in Game 5 of Stanley Cup Final

McDavid's 4-Point Night, Skinner's Stellar Performance Keep Oilers Alive

The Edmonton Oilers once again defied the odds on Tuesday night, staving off elimination in the fifth game of the Stanley Cup Final. Led by Connor McDavid's four-point performance and Stuart Skinner's heroic goaltending, the Oilers secured a 4-3 victory over the Vegas Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

After falling behind 2-0 early in the first period, the Oilers erupted for four unanswered goals, with McDavid scoring twice and assisting on another. The Golden Knights managed to pull within one goal late in the third period, but Skinner made several key saves down the stretch to preserve the win. The victory extends the series to a sixth game, which will take place on Thursday night in Edmonton.
